2024 GreenThumb GrowTogether T-Shirt Design Contest

Submit your original design to the 2024 GrowTogether T-Shirt Design Contest based on the theme for the conference: Gardens of Joy: Celebrating the Fruits of Our Labor / Jardines de Júbilo: Celebrando los Frutos de Nuestro Trabajo. Pick up a pen, crayon, pencil, or whatever you use to draw, and submit your artwork to our t-shirt design contest! The winning design will appear on the 2024 GrowTogether t-shirts, worn by hundreds of gardeners all over the city. Applicants may submit up to three entries by email or mail. Submission deadline: Friday, December 8, 2023

Guidelines

1. Artwork must relate to the theme of the conference. 

2. Artwork may include text, including the name of the conference, GreenThumb GrowTogether. The theme must be included in English and Spanish: Gardens of Joy: Celebrating the Fruits of Our Labor / Jardines de Júbilo: Celebrando los Frutos de Nuestro Trabajo. GreenThumb will incorporate them if not included in the design. 

3. Artwork must be original and created by the applicant; no clip art allowed. 

4. Designs must be in black and white only. 

5. Artwork must be signed by the author. 

6. Open to all artists of all ages and backgrounds, but preference is given to GreenThumb gardeners. 

7. Entries must include name, address, garden affiliation (if applicable), and phone number. 

8. Submission must be sized to fit on 8.5” x 11” paper. 

9. If you are under the age of 18, please include your age on the entry. 

10. Artists who have won in the past three years are not eligible to apply. 

11. GreenThumb logo will be incorporated by NYC Parks into the winning design.
